Renaissance arts and crafts fair is held in Young Park each year on the first weekend in November. The lake, towering trees, and rolling lawns provide an idyllic setting. Artists' booths line shaded pathways and strolling minstrels entertain faire-goers. A juried arts show. Performances of music, dance, theater, and a variety of food booths, all presented in a Renaissance theme. Over 160 artists' booths. 40,000 to 50,000 visitors.

Held at the Rillito Raceway Park, this competition is being organized by the Old Pueblo Harpers and the Tucson Celtic Festival Association. This is a competition for musicians and vocalists who are looking for an opportunity to share their love of Celtic music to an appreciative audience.

Get ready to tap your toes and clap your hands as the Brazos Valley Dulcimer Club in conjunction with Tarleton's Langdon Center presents a music festival with the purpose of passing down to future generations the wonderful sweet-strings of the hammer and mountain dulcimer mixed with fiddles, guitar and other acoustical instruments.

Family fun always happens when dulcimers play. Jam sessions on Friday evening at the frestival site, the southeast corner of Pearl and Crockett Street on the historic square in Granbury. The weekend offers workshop sessions taught by foremost mountain, hammer dulcimer & autoharp players from throughout the United States. In addition, there will be concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm that will feature your favorite musicians. This year's Mountain Dulcimer instructors include: Butch Ross, Bing Futch, Mary Z. Cox, Susan Boyer Haley, Aaron O'Rourke & David Beede. Hammered Dulcimer instructors include National performing artist Dan Landrum & Florida's own Ray Belanger.
