November Festival Schedule

Renaissance arts and crafts fair is held in Young Park each year on the first weekend in November. The lake, towering trees, and rolling lawns provide an idyllic setting. Artists' booths line shaded pathways and strolling minstrels entertain faire-goers. A juried arts show. Performances of music, dance, theater, and a variety of food booths, all presented in a Renaissance theme. Over 160 artists' booths. 40,000 to 50,000 visitors.

Held at the Rillito Raceway Park, this competition is being organized by the Old Pueblo Harpers and the Tucson Celtic Festival Association. This is a competition for musicians and vocalists who are looking for an opportunity to share their love of Celtic music to an appreciative audience. Held the first full weekend every November in the Pavillion just NorthEast of the original festival grounds. There will be ample directions to come here on the site and plenty of road signs at the time of the festival.

In the heart of the Heartland, on Historic Route 66, Deep Fork Festival is a must-do for any folk music lover. A wide variety of talent, personalities, and interests are showcased at this one-of-a-kind gathering.

The Lindsey Family, The Wright Family, David Ellison, Jeff and Ann Norris, Sweet Song String Band and more.  This is a comfort zone festival.  Downtown with shopping and a beach nearby.  RV park and camping availabe some on the water.  Vendors will love this new market.  Free concerts.  Bring your lawn chairs for the fesitval.  You must sign up for the workshops.

A Dulcimer and Acostical Music Festival

Get ready to tap your toes and clap your hands as the Brazos Valley Dulcimer Club in conjunction with Tarleton's Langdon Center presents a music festival with the purpose of passing down to future generations the wonderful sweet-strings of the hammer and mountain dulcimer mixed with fiddles, guitar and other acoustical instruments.

Family fun always happens when dulcimers play.  Jam sessions on Friday evening at the frestival site, the southeast corner of Pearl and Crockett Street on the historic square in Granbury.  Jam session are being planned with you in mind.  If you play an instrument bring it along and join the fun.  EVERYBODY is welcome to play.

On beautiful Barnegat Bay!!!  All proceeds will benefit the Natural Resource Education Foundation of New Jersey.

Come experience and enjoy the Suwannee Dulcimer Retreat at the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in historic White Springs, Florida.  The weekend offers workshop sessions taught by foremost mountain, hammer dulcimer & autoharp players from throughout the United States.  In addition, there will be concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm that will feature your favorite musicians.  This year's Mountain Dulcimer instructors include:  Butch Ross, Bing Futch, Mary Z. Cox, Susan Boyer Haley, Aaron O'Rourke & David Beede.  Hammered Dulcimer instructors include National performing artist Dan Landrum & Florida's own Ray Belanger.  Our Autoharp instructors are Nashville songwriter & performer Will Smith & our own Cheryl Belanger.

The SSAMC is held at Boyd Hill Environmental Studies Area, at 2900 31st Street, St. Petersburg. In addition to the park entrance sign, there will be a sign by the entrance saying MUSIC CAMP.
